Step One
If you don't have an account, you can register for one:

Registration usually takes just a few minutes, and once complete, you'll have full access to your personal tax records.
Step Two
To view your employment history, you'll need to log into your HMRC personal tax account:
Log in to HMRC Online ServicesSign in using your Government Gateway ID and password
Verify your identity using your phone or email
You'll be taken to your personal tax account dashboard
Already Have an Account?
If you already have a Government Gateway account, simply sign in with your existing credentials. You may be asked to complete two-factor authentication for security.
Tip: Keep your login details safe and secure. HMRC will never ask you for your password by email or phone.
Step Three
Once logged into your HMRC account:
Navigate to "PAYE (Pay As You Earn)"
Look for this section on your account dashboard
Click on "Check current and previous employments"
This will display your complete employment history
You'll now see a breakdown of all your previous jobs reported to HMRC by your employers, including:
Official Employment History
This is your official employment history as recorded by HMRC based on data reported by your employers through RTI (Real Time Information).
Step Four
While HMRC does not provide a one-click download in PDF format, you can save your records using these methods:
Take a Screenshot
Use your computer or phone's screenshot function to capture the page
Copy and Paste
Copy the records into a Word document or spreadsheet
Print as PDF
Use your browser's print function and select "Save as PDF"
